For all those students out there who are taking a year's drop for JEE, here comes the best article for droppers!
Lots of you have asked me about drop year preparation tips. I am myself not a dropper and so, it makes no sense for me to write a dropper related blog. I contacted a couple of people and one of them thankfully agreed to write a dropper blog. The person wanted me to not reveal the name and so, I cannot reveal anything about the author.
Note: The opinion and suggestions of the author may differ from what I have mentioned anywhere on this blog. Use your own discretion in this case.
The minibook contains 11 pages and about 2500 words. I myself went through it and it seemed to be pretty good. I would be glad if the droppers who are reading this minibook can post their feedback. If we get a good feedback on the minibook, I can request the author to be a regular writer on the blog for the dropper's section.
If you like the above minibook, you might want to take a look at all of our minibooks:
First of all the article is really good.
ReplyDeleteBhaiya I am a dropper . And 9 months are there for JEE Advanced .
Can I get top 50 if I work really hard, assuming I know basics and have confidence in myself. I mean do I ha e sufficient time for preparation .
Since you took a drop and are aiming for top 50 rank in JEE Advanced, it will depend somewhat on your concepts from the previous years (class 11 and 12). However, if you put in lot of effort and get all the concepts right along with practising huge number of questions, you may get what you wish for :)
Deleteu menetioned about the hours top rankers approx study in which u told abt 8 hrs do u mean abt self study?we all want an article for students going to school.reply asap .thanks .
ReplyDeleteHello :) It's obviously better to study as much as you can. However, since I myself had to manage regular school, coaching and self study; I'll tell you about it in detail. I'll write a free article about the same in 3-4 days. Stay tuned!
DeleteAman,as you said Stick to syllabus.,.do it means that sticking to advanced syllabus(i thought so coz you said syllabus fo r chemical kinetics is very small and it so in advanced syllabus but its lengthy in mains one).and please give description about how you used previous year question means how they helped you....
DeleteHope you spare some time ti answer this.
Thanks
Stick to JEE Advanced and JEE Main syllabus. Don't do anything unnecessary. For instance, when it comes to inorganic chemistry, it is best to study those topics first that are mentioned in JEE syllabus.

DeleteThe only problem is I don't know what was this anonymous persons rank in JEE ADV was. If you can help me with that I am willing to pay you 59 rupees. I mean if he got a good rank then paying for it is worth because you are getting tips from a guy who has made it happen. All repeaters dont make it in the top 200 or so
