Hello reader, this blog was created soon after the JEE (Advanced)-2013 results were declared. I had nothing to do and I decided that blogging would be a good idea. It would not only help me to get my time passed but also my English would be improved (I am pretty weak at that).
Well, let me introduce myself. My name is Aman Goel, a student who cleared JEE (Advanced)-2013 (formerly referred to as IIT-JEE) with an All India Rank of 33. I have decided to join Computer Science and Engineering, at IIT-Bombay, my dream destination. I belong to Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. In this blog, I would be describing my IIT-JEE preparation.
The two years of JEE preparation are crucial and decide your future. Cracking JEE is the key to getting admission into the premier engineering colleges of India- the IIT's. There are lakhs of students striving hard to crack the toughest engineering exam and the change in pattern of exam this year has made it even more difficult.
Heyyyy please let me know whether I should get Plancessiit material. They are saying that there is no need to follow any other book or I should follow topics as instructed by you from different books. Please comment fast

DeleteWhich is the best olympiad helper online preparation
Delete1) olympiad tester
2)olympiad helper
3)mtg online test serise
4)practise guru
I just meant can I rely completely on one material?Shouldnt I follow up multiple books for multiple topics.
ReplyDeleteWell there have been instances where people used only a single material and got awesome ranks. So you can't say anything.
DeleteIt depends on how well you are able to use the resources that you have
Thanks for your advice...
ReplyDeletesince you joined the same stream,
ReplyDeletewhat rank does a person need(min) to do cse at iitb?
Hey,
DeleteThe minimum rank is decreasing every year as it has almost become a trend for the toppers to join this course.
The closing rank for IITB-CS has been 59 and 75 in the years 2013 and 2012 respectively. To be safe, you would need to be under AIR 50.
Thanks

DeleteSir, my class 12 is going to commence next month. I joined FIITJEE in class 11, but I am getting a consistent low rank in all the tests. I am really puzzled as my practice tests in home fetch me 50-60%, but it gets halved in the real ones. My AITS rank is always anobe 1500, no matter how hard I study for it. You have passed this phase, not to mention, with distinction, I really will be very grateful if you help this junior and admirer of yours.
