That's it , you are done.
Complete NCERT thoroughly. Also , if your JEE preparation is strong enough then you PCM(Physics , Chemistry and Maths) portion is already covered. What you need is a look though NCERT so that you can write the definitions / proofs / derivations in the paper.
Since they have added new "value based questions" , you should be prepared for it. Best source is "Google".
For English , you need to start atleast a couple of months before the exams to avoid last minute pressure.
For Physical Education , you hardly need 2 days. I would suggest memorizing the headings and then explaining it in your own words.
Sorry for no words on computer science (I didn't opt for it).
Just don't take board exams as an extra burden. They are not!.
Infact , take it as an opportunity to judge yourself that how familiar you are with NCERT.
In another of my post , I have already described the importance of NCERT textbooks.
Keep in mind that Board exams don't matter much as far as engineering is concerned. But there is a cutoff percentage that you need to clear to take admission into the IIT's.

Hello Aman bhaiya I m pratikshit from mumbai and I consider u as my mentor u write very well. I wanted to ask u why didn't u choose SK goyal algebra instead of tmh?
ReplyDeleteSK goyal algebra is subjective / tough.
ReplyDeleteit contains lengthy problems which are not at all required for JEE.
tmh is meant especially for jee aspirants whereas sk goyal is mainly for olympiads.
Wat about Paula bruice for organic?
ReplyDeleteit's a good book. i studied that book for our ch105 course (organic chemistry - btech first year).
ReplyDeletebut it contains a lot of stuff that is not at all required for jee (we study that stuff here).
so i would suggest sticking with lg wade
The Pearson book has an Indian author Maya Singh do u suggest that one?
ReplyDeleteya that's the book i am talking about.
ReplyDeletethere are 2 authors : lg wade and maya shankar singh
Thnx a lot looking forward to meet u soon(after my jee) do u recommend starting inorganic chemistry before it has started in classes and will NCERT suffice?
ReplyDeleteHow did u select questions from physics ncert.
ReplyDeleteThe additional problems contain many problems which are really good. Just give a look to all the problems (the additional once atleast) , and mentally try to frame a solution. If you are not able to figure out the solution at once , then go for that problem - it's a good problem
ReplyDeleteDo u think all questions in chemistry ncert are important? and u opted for physical education, then class 11th and 12th computer science has no link with b.tech in computer science?
ReplyDeleteWat about my question?
ReplyDeletehey..can u please tell us something about rmo in ur next post..
ReplyDeleteNice post indeed ... Aman I request you to share

on your blog. It will be really helpful to the student..
Sorry guys for not responding. I was busy with my end semester exams
ReplyDelete@pratikshit : yes definitely you must start inorganic NOW. i can bet you that they won't teach you inorganic chemistry in the coaching. They never do. This is the status of almost all coachings.
@priya kapur : definitely each and every question of ncert is important. in jee they have picked up intext problems of ncert directly in inorganic section. if you don't believe me then here is a sample :
ReplyDeleteextra pure nitrogen can be obtained by thermal decomposition of which compound ? this was asked in i guess jee 2010 or 2011 (i don't remember). this is a direct question from ncert (p block elements, class 12th).
for physical education v/s computer science : definitely if you have a computer science background then it helps a lot in learning CS in btech. but that was not a big deal for me because i was well versed with programming because i had learnt how to program for 5 whole years(class 6th to class 10th)
@IMG : i didn't appear for RMO so i have no idea about that
ReplyDeletehello bhaiyya . my math is not so good aq to test marks in bansal therefor please give me some book details .
ReplyDelete@Azam
ReplyDeleteI have mentioned the relevant books in one of my posts dedicated to maths
for english how to go about them bbc, oxford or what for cbseand that novel+writing skills
ReplyDeleteI used only the 2 books prescribed by ncert- I guess the names were flamingoes and vistas
ReplyDeleteI am having my boards from 10th feb. Please suggest whether i should focus only on boards or parallely do jee preparation also???And when was 11th class syllabus finished and 12th class syllabus started in ur coaching????
ReplyDeleteyeah ofcourse, preparing for boards is important and give your 100% in preparation of PCM.
DeleteI don't exactly remember when was syllabus finished
I'm in class 11th. So please suggest accordingly should i continue my jee preparation in boards also?Like my exams are from 10th feb to 26th feb.,so how much time should i devote to JEE during these days??
DeleteIt depends on you. You know yourself the best. Make a schedule that best suits you.
DeleteHey Aman, when to start studying exclusively for boards I am in class 12 boards starting from 1 march
ReplyDeletestart NOW
Deletei want to know that during your board exams whether u devoted the whole day to your board exam or some time to your JEE preparation (i'm talking about 3-4 days before your board exam)
ReplyDeletewas there any topic of your's which was left uncovered before JEE mains
definitely not.
DeleteI had the following subjects :
Physics
Chemistry
Maths
English
Hindi
Physical Education
I studied only for the last 3
No idea
