I believe that securing 300+ is not a monumental task for anyone who has diligently prepared for the exams. It does get tough when they ask factual questions which some students do not prefer to read extensively for JEE Main. But having a decent preparation for the board exams along with clarity in concepts is all it needs to shine in JEE Main. Here are some pointers to nail 300+ in JEE Main:
- Read NCERT chemistry thoroughly for the boards and ensure that you retain all that knowledge till JEE Main. It is vital to secure some easy marks and gives you a greater chance to secure a 300+ score in JEE Main.
- Ensure that you have a well-worked-out strategy to solve the paper. Do not get confused about which questions to solve during the exam. A proper strategy ensures fewer mistakes, more concentration, and faster solving of the paper.
- For physics, follow important examples and problems in H.C. Verma Concepts Of Physics. That book is a complete guide for the physics concepts. Also, try to remember important results which may come in handy in problems. Projectile formulas and some properties in rigid body dynamics can come in handy and save time in solving those problems.
- For maths, the questions are never too long. If you feel that your method would be lengthy, then that is not the right method. The use of properties is the most essential factor in JEE Main maths. So make sure you have enough practice with that.
- Read all questions properly before attempting. Do not devise a method by just a brisk reading of the question. Read it completely and then start solving it.
- Maintain clean rough work for easy debugging in case of mistakes in the steps of the solution.
These tips if followed can easily secure you a score of 300+ in JEE Main. If you are an aspirant for IIT then do not worry if you are unable to score 300+ in JEE Main. Advanced should be your final target and the score of your JEE Main should neither demotivate you nor make you cocky. So stay calm and give your best!
