Exemplar Problems

CBSE has provided some excellent problems called as Exemplar problems on the NCERT website.
Because these problems are made by the authors of NCERT textbooks, you must do them!
Reason - the authors of NCERT textbooks are none other than the professors at the renowned research institutions including IITs and so, solving them becomes must!

Exemplar Problems

Note that it is also advisable to keep correct solutions to these problems (especially for Physics and Chemistry).
The problems of chemistry Exemplar problems (especially inorganic chemistry) are really important and a serious aspirant should not ignore them!

The exemplar problems are so good (and relevant for competitive examinations like JEE Main and JEE Advanced) that Arihant has created all new series of Exemplar problems solutions.

    1. See the Exemplar is just like any other good book and remember you must first learn theory then go for problems in Exemplar. It is never "worth" to ignore one good book for another. If you do it just means you don't know how to manage time.

  4. I will be giving JEE in 16. My coaching and college has made our schedule very hectic.i reach home by 7 in evening after which I am very tired. I just find time to study. Also my performance in tests has gone down. what am I supposed to do? Start bunking lectures for self study? Or leave board lectures so that I find time for self study?

    1. This is the biggest problem if you join coaching - you can't do self study if you have not planned your time well. You have only a year for JEE, now you must focus on strengthening your concepts and practising from your old caching sheets once again, say you do that for a month, wherever you are weak, and I STRONGLY RECOMMEND not to attend your coaching. You need to completely do everything in the vast syllabus by at least December with ample practice, after that come the boards! Go to the coaching only once in a while to get your doubts cleared. With good books you don't need lectures to make you understand things. YOU MUST KNOW HOW TO TEACH YOURSELF. One can not be 100% dependent on coaching, self study must be your foundation and coaching just an assistance. Aman would surely agree with this. Try this suggestion, you'll surely do well. Good luck!
